Retention Specialist Job Description
The retention specialist is part sales representative and part care representative and in every customer interaction, they face the ultimate sales objection handling test, selling customers on the reasons why they should stay with Sprint.
Position Requirements
- 1-3 years of previous customer service/sales experience
- Strong computer skills using Windows based systems
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Must be willing to sell Sprint Nextel products or services on every eligible call
- Sprint is a drug screen and background screening employer.
Shift Information
- Our Call Center is open the following hours
- Monday - Friday hours of operation: 6am to 12 Midnight
- Saturday hours of operation: 7am - 11pm
- Sunday hours of operation: 8am - 11pm
Pay
- Base pay begins at $12.50 per hour with 10% differential after 6pm
- Monthly incentive program is available with pay outs ranging from $950.00 to $3000
- Representatives become eligible for benefits after 31 days of employment
Bilingual Retention Specialists
The retention specialist supports Spanish speaking customers. The role is part sales representative and part care representative.

Training
The first 6 weeks will be devoted to a full time, paid training program. Training is held Monday – Friday. Once you have successfully completed training, you will need to be flexible to work anytime during the hours of operation, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
