Job Description
The Customer Care Account Services Specialist plays a vital role in the retention of Sprint's consumer customers. The Account Services Specialist will field re-routed calls from consumer customers no longer interested in continuing service with Sprint. The Specialist will work extensively with the customer to resolve billing problems, account activation, technical issues, in addition to other general service issues. An understanding of the full suite of Sprint products and services is vital to this role, and will enable the specialist to recommend a course of action.

Preferred qualifications include:
- Successful completion of a drug and background investigation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Call activity for this position may be monitored for quality assurance.
Basic qualifications include:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One plus years related work experience in a customer service/sales environment.
- Proven record of sales success
- Experience operating a computer in a Windows based environment
- Experience in an environment requiring simultaneous listening, interpreting, typing and computer use skills
- Availability to work in an environment requiring strict attendance
Our Call Center is open the following hours:
- Weekday hours of operation: Monday through Friday 7am – 10pm
- Saturday hours of operation: 8am to 5pm.
For the first 6 months on the job, the expected shift will be from 1pm – 10pm. For the first 6 months on the job, expect to work 4 days during the week from 1-10pm and every Saturday from 8am-5pm. After 6 months on the job, employees become eligible for a shift bid process held quarterly; it is based on performance, not tenure.
Compensation:
- Base pay rate is $15.39 per hour ($32,000 per year), plus commission
- Commission is based on meeting monthly productivity and customer service goals. Individuals meeting these productivity/customer service goals can earn up to $3000 per month in incentives.
- Account Service Specialists become eligible for benefits after 31 days of employment.
Training:
The first 8 weeks will be devoted to a full time, paid training program. Training is held Monday-Friday from 8am – 5pm. Once you have successfully completed training, you will need to be flexible to work anytime during the hours of operation, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
